KeyBank + Personetics AI Insights
KeyBank partnered with Personetics for new cognitive banking features. These AI-powered insights would engage retail users and enrich their mobile banking experience.
The first feature would be enriched transactions, which would include company logos and contact information, revised by Personetics to help users understand their spending. No more transactions labeled “MERCHANT#45678.” Now, transactions would be cleaned up to clearly list the business and additional details.
But the big revolution would come in phase 2, with AI-driven insights. Set to launch in Q3 2026, these insights will appear based on a user’s spending activity, giving them real-time views into their financial health. They include everything from paycheck alerts to budgets to managing subscription renewals. As the content lead, I personally edited each of the 100+ insights set to appear at launch. I didn’t just think about the copy, but the overall user journey, considering how insights could drive users to actions like transfers or to dive deep into website content.
